To protect the public interest by regulating the practice of paramedicine in Manitoba in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act and the College of Paramedics of Manitoba General Regulation.
Our Regulatory Objectives, in our mandate to regulate the profession of Paramedicine in the Province of Manitoba, are:
- Use Right Touch Regulation in all of our work: work to be a pro-active regulator; use proportionate decision making; be principled and consistent
- Be Risk Focused: use environmental scans to stay current in regulation; be nimble and adaptable as a regulator
- Be Outcomes Focused: in order to demonstrate our Value to the Public we need to know that as a regulatory college we make a difference! We will practice outcome focused regulation by defining our intended impacts, identifying our results, and analyzing and adapting our processes as needed.
